Trail Town Program officials and stakeholders from communities along the Great Allegheny Passage gathered Tuesday for a regrouping meeting.
The gathering in West Homestead was as much a retrospective of the success of the program’s first year in the communities of McKeesport, Boston, the South Side and the Steel Valley as it was a planning session for the year ahead.
“We saw a lot of new stuff,” program manager William Prince said, noting that communities along the Great Allegheny Passage took advantage of Trail Town initiatives to add signs, bike racks and other bicyclist-friendly amenities to their infrastructure. Read more.
