Frostburg, MD – The Progress Fund is proud to announce that one of our recent borrowers, Savage River Lodge, was just awarded with the Maryland Office of Tourism’s 2011 Green/Sustainable Tourism Award for their sustainable business practices. “A model of tourism and sustainable green business…the Savage River Lodge knows that green is the right thing to do,” said Greg Shockley, Chair, Maryland Tourism Development Board.
