Living in Colorado, teaching music during the week, and camping on weekends: That was the rhythm of life for Charissa and Rian Chiaravalloti.
After experiencing the effects of the pandemic in the city and especially within the music industry, they decided they wanted a change in tempo and looked to return to their Pennsylvania roots within the PA Wilds.
That’s when they came across a campground for sale in Port Allegany, Pennsylvania.
The total cost of the project was $619,000. The Progress Fund loaned the Chiaravalloti’s $399,000 to purchase Cady Hollow Campground; an 87-acre property with 86 campsites, 3 cabins, a store and home in which the couple live.
