March 9, 2011 – Today we had the pleasure of a visit from USDA Deputy Under Secretary Cheryl Cook. Cheryl announced that we were one of only eight organizations in the nation to receive funding under the USDA’s Rural Microentrepreneur Assistance Program (RMAP). The Progress Fund received the largest award of the eight. This funding will enable The Progress Fund to make ten $50,000 loans to enterprising small businesses.
